Hey everyone, I recently attempted to update my GPU drivers but faced issues. After trying to uninstall the old ones and reinstall the new ones, I used the cleanup tool and restarted my PC. Now, when I log in with the password, I only see a black screen with the cursor. Is there a solution to fix this? Thanks!

Join the discussion boards! This occurs when Explorer.exe doesn't launch properly. Launch Task Manager using ctrl+shift+esc, select File, then choose "Run new task type" and enter "explorer.exe". Press Enter.

I attempted it earlier too; the TM wouldn’t appear. I was able to reach my desktop only in safe mode. Could you check if there’s anything particular about your setup or settings that might cause this issue?

If your OS runs on a disk, consider installing an SSD to improve performance, as this issue has been reported with Windows 11.
