The setting "Wait for Vertical Refresh - Always on" is no longer functioning. It worked before you reformatted your computer and tested each AMD driver version one by one (after removing the previous one) for your GPU. To resolve this, adjust the settings so it doesn’t need to be enabled every time in the game.

Are you applying DDU for driver cleanup? It’s unclear if this will resolve the problem, but it might help. Consider locating the configuration file containing these AMD settings and editing it with Notepad.

I tried DDU initially, but discovered another solution. Previously, Enhanced Sync restricted FPS too much, leading to overheating in many games I play. Now the update allows me to adjust my FPS with Enhanced Sync, which is why I chose it.
