Message: Screen tearing occurs in full-screen mode on YouTube videos. It appears on both Firefox and Chrome while using Windows 10 with an RTX 2070 graphics card that's up to date. The issue is limited to one monitor, a 4K Samsung display, whereas the other 1080P Asus monitor shows no tearing during the same sections. Any advice would be appreciated.

Consider enabling hardware acceleration in your browser or disabling it if active. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, check the monitor’s OSD settings or the NVIDIA panel. A loose connection could also be the cause. If none of these apply, there might be another problem.

Turning off smooth scrolling and hardware acceleration resolved the issue. I use Vivaldi for this.
