Hello, I noticed you closed your Win10 yesterday after an update. When you turned it back on today, it needed to install the update again. It quickly reached 92% but has now been stuck there for nearly an hour. This hasn’t happened before, so I’m looking for advice. My system says it’s safe not to shut it down, but I’m unsure what else to do. Thanks!

Have you attempted to move the mouse? Occasionally this triggers it... Also, was your installation a clean one or did you upgrade to Windows 10?

Restart and observe the outcome. If nothing changes, use Rufus to create a Windows 10 installation ISO on a USB flash drive and boot from it. Then choose an option like "Repair this PC" or similar. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, transfer the boot drive to another storage device and reinstall Windows.
