Hi, thank you for your message. I'm sorry for the unclear writing. My Lenovo Ideapad Z410 has been with me since 2013. Recently, I encountered an issue: pressing the power button shows only a blank screen with no LENOVO logo, while the backlight stays off and only the LCD is active. It takes a long time to appear, sometimes up to an hour before it restarts. I had to force shut it down and try again, which took about 15 minutes before it worked. After several attempts, the screen finally displayed LENOVO and booted up. I checked the inside and found everything normal—no damaged parts or signs of damage. You can watch the blinking issue here: lenovohb.mp4

It hasn't occurred before on a Lenovo, and I'm using simpler Thinkpads too. The CMOS battery might be dead or failing. You could take it out, discharge the board by pressing the power button a few times, and then put it back in. Also, if your machine was in standby or hibernation, you won't be able to reach the BIOS because it will immediately launch Windows.

I own the same laptop, but it hasn't had issues like that before. Could removing the internal battery solve the problem?
