screen issue when computer is running, device fails to power up
I had already checked the sticky note. I was playing a game smoothly, then went to the bathroom. When I returned, there was no display, but the PC was still active. I attempted a clean shutdown with a quick press, but it didn’t work. It shut down by itself after a few seconds or minutes, depending on GPU and RAM RGB lights. The motherboard didn’t show any LEDs (like CPU, DRAM, VGA), and the fans weren’t spinning at all. The Gigabyte B650 Aorus AX rev. 1.0 with 2x16GB G.SKILL Z5 (non-Noel) at 4800MHz (6400 with XMP) and a GTX 1060 850W PSU is what I had. I know these RAM sticks are for Intel, but they wouldn’t boot when I tried to enable XMP, though the fans did spin. After updating the BIOS, I cleared the CMOS by removing the battery and shorting the pins. I also tried using the reset button, shorting the power switch pins, just in case the power button was faulty. Maybe the RAM is too slow, but I waited about 2 minutes and the fans stopped spinning—though they should have started when RAM trained. It seems like a compatibility problem with RAM? It worked fine for over 10 hours without XMP or any other Gigabyte motherboard. Please help me figure this out.
