Hello, I was just browsing YouTube when my PC froze blue. I don’t recall the exact message, but it mentioned “system” which doesn’t seem very helpful. I attempted a system restore, but it reported insufficient space on the C: drive. Previously, I checked and saw about 15 GB free (256 GB M.2). I’m unsure what to do now because I can’t reinstall without risking important files.

get another SSD? a 512 or 1TB would be a huge upgrade and both can be had crazy cheap today. It's possible there's a problem with the drive, physically. (Also, 15gb free on 256GB is not enough for a properly maintained drive.) Without making changes to the drive, there's not much else to do.

Unfortunately, the drive is more than six years old (originally from a laptop). I could purchase a new one, but I’m unsure how to move my data since my motherboard only supports one M.2 slot. So far, I’ve booted into safe mode and my C drive has 4GB available. I used Windstat to remove some files and now have 32GB free. I plan to try the restore process now.

You're in the Dell Support Assist portal, but you mentioned you don't own a Dell PC. The SSD came from a Dell laptop, yet Windows was reinstalled on it, so it seems the drive might still carry traces of Dell's system. This could be a concern depending on your setup.
