Hi,
Recently while playing games, my PC screen goes black with a "No Signal" alert. The fan spins very loudly and the game audio remains audible. The issues mainly occur with WoW and CIV. A forced reboot fixes the problem.

Stress testing the GPU showed normal results with no artifacts. OCCT 3D visualization also displayed the black screen within seconds, and power stress tests completed without problems. CPU and RAM tests ran smoothly for several minutes before stopping.

During testing, GPU temperatures dropped quickly to the low 80s and stayed stable. Lowering the load to 50% or limiting power to 80% on MSI Afterburner delayed the black screen. Using minimal graphics settings also prevented it.

Occasionally, WHEA error 17 appears alongside the black screen, though not always.

System details:
- CPU: i5-14600k
- Cooler: Peerless Assassin 120mm
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B760M Gaming X DDR4
- RAM: DDR4 3200mhz (model forgotten)
- GPU: Inno3d RTX 5070 Twin X2 OC
- PSU: Corsair RM850x
- Monitor: Dell S3222DGM

Troubleshooting steps tried:
- Uninstalling and reinstalling GPU drivers in safe mode with DDU
- Updating Nvidia drivers
- BIOS update to latest version
- Updating all motherboard drivers
- Disabling XMP
- Downgrading PCIe settings in BIOS to Gen 3/2
- Reseating GPU
- Replacing PSU and cables
- Swapping to DP display
- Cleaning dust from components

Anything else before proceeding with a warranty? (Is it really the GPU?)
Thanks for your assistance!

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Mobo Gigabyte b760m Gaming X ddr4
Updating BIOS to the latest version
Which BIOS version is installed on your motherboard?
PSU Corsair RM850x
How long has your PSU been in use?
+
Swapping out PSU and cables
What method did you use to diagnose the system?
Any additional steps could be taken before initiating a GPU return mail (RMA)? (Is it even the GPU?)
You may consider moving the GPU to a known functional setup (friend's or neighbors') to verify if the problem continues. If it does not, then the GPU is likely not the issue.

Thank you for being here!
BIOS version is F21.
The PSU was three years old. The store replaced it with a new one of the same model, but the issue persisted. Both were used during troubleshooting at different stages.
Unfortunately, I don’t know anyone with a system that can run a 5070.
