Hey there, as you likely saw in the title, I was using my usual setup when suddenly everything went black. I could still hear sounds, but no screen appeared. After turning off the PC to reset it, I couldn’t see anything. I replaced the CMOS battery, reinserted the RAM and GPU, essentially rebuilt the system, yet the problem persisted. I’m not sure if the issue was with the GPU—trying Integrated graphics didn’t help either. I returned my motherboard to try a new one, but that didn’t resolve it either. I’ve done most of the troubleshooting steps except swapping in a Ryzen 9, which worked fine before. I’m not very experienced building PCs, but I’m confident enough to fix this myself. This has never happened to me before, so I’d appreciate any advice or guidance on how to get a working display again. I’ve also updated the BIOS but still haven’t seen improvement.
Couldn’t locate any clear evidence either. Many possibilities exist, either hardware or software. Let’s begin with the machine specifications. What details do you have? There seems to be a suggestion you’re using some kind of Windows environment, though that’s just a guess. This is only based on the assumption “Val” refers to Valorant.
