Hey there, I've noticed something odd with my graphics card. The video tends to freeze at any point it was playing, yet I can still hear games or videos running and interact with them while the output stays stuck. It usually happens randomly—sometimes a day or two apart, other times multiple days in a row. There doesn’t seem to be a clear trigger, and there’s no BOSD involved. I’ve tried everything: reinstalling the driver, updating GPU settings, updating BIOS, even doing a full Windows reset. The audio still works, so it might be the GPU itself acting up. Anyone else experienced this? Any ideas on what could be causing it?

Are there any issues with the onboard VGA from your motherboard? Probably not, unless it's the graphics card.

I don’t have a built-in graphics card, which means I can’t run those tests.

I'm checking if your motherboard supports a display port or HDMI connection.

When receiving a signal from the motherboard instead of the GPU, it's likely the GPU isn't functioning properly.

The R5 3600 lacks integrated graphics, and the motherboard consistently fails to transmit signals.

No, I don't have another GPU available for testing.

Press the Windows key together with Shift, Ctrl, and the B key. A beep will sound and your screen will flash rapidly. This usually resets your graphics drivers.

this true... i get the beep, but it never did anything else lol... in my experience a video crash basically cannot be recovered , at least not reliably. time to bring those onboard gpus back!
