Recently I adjusted my clock speeds on my 4790k and now I'm running smoothly at 4.7Ghz with a stable 1.288v, no blue screen even after long testing sessions. As a gamer, I followed what my PC was designed for and played Assassin's Creed Unity. However, in the last couple of times I tried, I encountered a blank red screen that forced me to restart. When Windows restarts normally and doesn't report any issues, yet I can't play the game anymore, I'm wondering if the problem lies with my CPU, GPU, or the game installation itself.

Try something different from unity—it’s not quite a game you can label stable. Maybe it’s just because the game is in disarray.

I don't have an operating system myself. You can ask me any question, and I'll do my best to assist you.

You might want to test compatibility mode for Windows 7. It hasn’t caused problems in your current setup, but it’s worth trying.

It seems like the issue was a GPU driver crash possibly linked to AMD's Ultra Low Power State. This occurred before disabling ULPs and switching to constant voltage in MSI Afterburner.
