Hey everyone, just got my new Rx 6600 but I'm facing some weird screen glitches. I've attached a video showing the problem. It appears as a thin green horizontal line across the screen for a brief moment. VID_20220420_113729(1).mp4

Asking a few points: Is your GPU or its memory boosted beyond normal settings? What are the temps for your GPU and memory? Have you experimented with lowering the clock speed of either to check if issues vanish? When the issue shows up, does it always appear as one line or does it vary? Do you have another monitor or cable available to test? Based on what I've seen, these kinds of problems often indicate VRAM failure, though overclocking can also cause similar effects.

It looks like the device comes with a factory reset. Temperatures are stable around 50°C. I haven’t adjusted the clocking yet, but it’s a new GPU. If you need to fix it, sending it back for a replacement might be better. When it changes position or shows multiple lines on the screen, it could indicate an issue. You mentioned you don’t have another monitor, but you can provide a cable if needed.

Roger that; boosting the factory settings is acceptable at 50°C temperatures. Yes, if you need to slow down either the GPU or memory to resolve this, send in a return mail. Given the shifting positions of the artifacts, it seems the graphics card might be the issue. I’d attempt to lower the GPU and memory speeds just to verify if the problems persist, which could help confirm the cause. As long as the video cable and monitor function properly, proceed with the RMA for the 6600.
