Hello, your ASUS ROG Zephyr G14 from 2021 is showing power indicators and a backlit keyboard, yet the screen stays dark. Someone has suggestions beyond just holding power for a minute.

Yes, holding power can help activate the screen. The laptop’s display may remain unresponsive after turning on due to software glitches, hardware issues, or incorrect settings.

It seems the device isn't helping and only restarts when powered off. I haven't noticed any display since last night.

Oh no, I don’t know what to do either. Something like this happened to me before, lights were on and everything, but the screen was black. I could barely see it unless I shone a flashlight at it. I remember someone said it sounded like the Black Screen of Death, but honestly, with my laptop experience, it sounds pretty similar. I’m not sure what’s going on, and I don’t have much knowledge about laptops, so I’ll take everything I say with a grain of salt. Sorry, I couldn’t help you much better.

I just resolved it. All I needed was to reinsert one of the RAM sticks, and it worked immediately.
