The keyboard you're talking about will ruin your game right away. I remember that too—it was the reason I messed up my friend's pong project.

It's great to hear! The process definitely required a lot of time. One thing to note is that when the ball hits the ceiling and bounces back, it slows down, which could be intentional for the game. *Shrug*

Yes. For the octagon I initially set each top, bottom left, and right separately instead of using a top-bottom-left/right setup. This caused issues with ghosting and made it hard to see all four objects clearly. The game speed increased later on.
