I perform fairly well on other tests, but On Cinebench only my 4070 shows good results. My CPU seems to be struggling a lot. I just received a 64pts in single core and around 100 in multicore. I’m aware I don’t own a top-tier 2024 PC, yet the scores I see for stock models are 10–30 times higher than my own with the same CPU! Anyone have any suggestions or ideas? 3700xt B550AM 32GB DDR4 Gigabyte 4070 Windows 10

Yes, that refers to 2700 times the original value.

You're starting with a question about your Cinebench results. I need to know which version you're using and what hardware you have. The details about the CPU model and cooler are helpful too. For troubleshooting, consider using HWInfo64 in sensors-only mode and follow the instructions to generate a log file for later review.

I'm using the standard cooler that came with the setup. I'm planning to replace my current 240ml model today since mine is really loud and bothersome. I believe the Cinibench version is 2024.0.1. I expect a normal score, not something extreme, but I'm hoping for single-digit results in the rankings. The list seems confusing because older systems have such low scores compared to newer ones.

the stock cooler works fine in itself, YET it produces a lot of noise which explains why you’d want to switch it. Still, using Cinebench to stress-test your GPU is quite confusing... because it’s actually a CPU test. This makes me think you might have other unusual configurations elsewhere. Have you adjusted any overclocking settings? Are you running with the default Windows options? I suggest trying Firestrike (available on Steam Demo) and sharing the results here—just a screenshot won’t be enough. That way we can see your real performance instead of just hearing complaints. Of course, 100 points isn’t great, but it’s important to have an objective measure. Something like Firestrike is exactly what you need.

based on what i found online, the R7 3700X on R24 with single 74 and multi 736 should perform well, though windows might slightly reduce core performance if it behaves that way. check cinebench options to ensure all 16 threads are utilized. consider testing other models like R15 or R23 to compare behavior. it’s possible there’s a bug, so older versions such as R23 (1294cb single 12355cb multi 2114cb) might help. if needed, try your new cooler. before testing, close other programs, run the test, then use hwinfo64 or similar to review temperatures and retry. don’t forget to reset bios settings and default configurations.
