Hey, I just set up my first rig using the R3 3300x and cinebench R20. The multicore score is way lower than expected—2500 to 2600 should be standard with all cores active. Right now it’s around 2100–2200. My single-core score is 460, which isn’t great either. Temperatures stay under 65°C, but the stock performance feels limited. I’m overclocking at 4.4GHz and getting 2269 in multicore, but something’s not quite right.

It might have been the motherboard BIOS you used, but it came with the latest BIO release (a beta is also available). The AMD chipset drivers are current.

I attempted adjustments in the BIOS and also enabled 1usmus. I noticed a minor boost in performance—thank you! I reached my maximum Cinebench score at 2300. Then, I followed Anthony's instructions from the video: my system began slowing down, but I couldn't locate all the necessary power settings in the BIOs (Model: MSI Mag B550 Mortar Wifi). My scores stayed below 2000. The configurations I found were: Global C-state Control = Enabled, Power Supply Idle Control = Low Current Idle, CPPC = Enabled, CPPC Preferred Cores = Enabled. I couldn't find the AMD Cool'n'Quiet setting or PPC Adjustment = PState 0 in my BIOS. After resetting the BIOs to default optimized settings and gradually tweaking each parameter, I now have the following BIOS values: Global C-state Control = Enabled, Power Supply Idle Control = Low Current Idle, CPPC = Enabled, CPPC Preferred Cores = Enabled. The DRAM Gear Down Mode is enabled, Power Down Mode is off, and DRAM voltage is set to 1.35V. CPU Vsoc is 1.100V, Core Clock runs at 4.4GHz. Eventually, I achieved 2300 points in Cinebench R20 Multicore again. It turns out my AMD Radeon Software was limiting performance. That was an honest mistake—I'm sorry! Before starting Cinebench, I checked the processes and saw it was using about 15% CPU. Once it finished, the scores were: Multicore 2669, Singlecore 510. Currently, this appears to be the typical standard OC result for the R3 3300x. I plan to experiment further with power settings and see how it impacts performance. Core clock is set across all cores; I might adjust it in the BIOs or open Ryzen Master for individual core optimization. Not sure how this will affect the R3 3300x, but I'm curious what others discover.
