Prior to the change: 5600X paired with 212 EVO and MSI B550 Gaming Plus. After the swap: identical build using Noctua U12S and MSI B550 Tomahawk. Reported improvement in thermal performance and cooler feel. Despite a 5-6 degree drop in temperature during load, the C23 score fell about 5%. All other parts remained unchanged. BIOS now has PBO enabled. The reason isn't clear to me.

The benchmark result is easily influenced. It's not far from being low at all. Stop any unnecessary running apps and try again. I prefer QuickCpu, and in the memory section you can clear the cache. After that, run the test—it should improve the score slightly. GL
