Hey there, I started assembling my PC back in November 2022. Since then, I’ve noticed consistently poor CPU and GPU scores, plus lower FPS in games like Dota 2—especially the one I play most. At first, I was worried and tried some fixes, but eventually it just became a background issue. The biggest change I made was upgrading my RAM from 16GB single-channel to 2x16GB dual-channel, which helped a bit but didn’t fix the problem completely. Recently, I ran Cinebench R24 twice, and both times my results were way below what online benchmarks suggest for my CPU. The numbers looked almost the same, which makes me suspect something’s off. I’ve attached some screenshots of the scores along with my PC specs. If anyone has any ideas or tips on diagnosing this, I’d really appreciate your advice! Thanks a lot!

The R24 multi-score reflects performance gains from the 4GHz all-core boost. Specific examples and metrics can be found in the provided benchmark links.

Previous attempt with C24 yielded Single 98 Multi 687 using the 12400 (those seem to be optimal setups). Updated on February 7, 2025 by leclod

The issue lies in the perception of smoothness, but there may be underlying problems affecting performance or stability.

The score still leaves a noticeable difference. What are your thoughts on the GPU performance?

Test 3DMark to assess your performance relative to others. Confirm your system isn’t using any power-saving settings on Windows. Check if ReBar is active. Ensure no performance limitations are present. Verify all drivers are current.

Your benchmark comparison seems to be based on a single data point from a video made just two years ago by an unknown YouTuber. Would you like to evaluate it against something more concrete or reliable?
