Simply switch off your monitor to stop it from consuming power and potentially preventing overheating.

Sleep mode in a PC and a PS4 behave very differently. A PC enters sleep by powering down most components while keeping a minimal reserve, using only a small amount of energy. In contrast, a PS4 in standby remains largely functional and draws significantly more power than a PC in that state.

With Windows 10, you can still keep Wi-Fi active even when the system is in sleep mode. Just check the power-saving settings and make sure they don’t interfere with your connection. Be mindful of the battery impact.
