I've been working on this since morning. My brother and I are attempting to play PUBG on the same PC for a long time. Even when no instances are running, we can't launch the game on the sandboxed Steam environment. The issue occurs during battles—when it says "starting battleye service" but nothing else happens. I've noted some details about the battleye executable path: it's at /Program files x86/common files/battleye/battleye.exe(something). When I double-click it, it launches and then closes immediately. But when I right-click and run it in sandbox mode, it opens and stays open. It seems the program can't access what it needs to function properly. How can we get this working so I can resolve it? I'm really tired trying to fix this... HELP! Thanks. (I checked, but the internet is empty)
