Since I got my G6 OLED monitor, my PC would suddenly crash after a few hours of use. I've tested it under heavy stress without any problems. It's really annoying because every time it crashes, I have to turn off the PSU switch and then restart the power button. Any suggestions or solutions would be appreciated.
Check if the system remains active or shuts down when it crashes. Test with an older display or another screen to determine if the issue persists.
The computer shuts down entirely, and after using my old screen for an entire day it didn’t occur.
That's unusual. Have you looked for any power-saving options on your monitor? It might even shut down linked devices when the screen goes dark, like an HDMI connection.
I can't test the monitor on another device, but I did use the Display port cable from Samsung in the box and the one I purchased elsewhere, and the results were the same.
I've already changed the order of my power cables from the monitor and PC using the extension cord, then plugged them straight into the wall outlet. I'm really struggling with this issue.
