Hello! I tried setting up SA:MP and noticed a lot of lag—about 5 frames per second all the time. It’s really annoying, and the game doesn’t run smoothly at that speed. On Windows 98/Me, changing the compatibility settings caused it to crash right after loading SA:MP or GTA:SA. I had to lower the game version to 1.0 because I saw a white screen during startup. My system specs are: ASUS Dual GTX 1060, i7-7700K, 4.2 GHz water cooling, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 2TB HDD, and 256GB SSD. The game is installed on the SSD to speed up loading times. Could someone assist me with a solution? Thanks!

Have you attempted using a widescreen fix mod? It shouldn't lead to crashes, though you might want to test it. Also, remember that some older titles struggled with multi-core processors—have you adjusted the app’s settings in Task Manager to run on just one or two cores?
