I use a GTX 970M in my laptop, but TrackMania only shows it as having 136MB of VRAM and restricts the graphics quality to poor or very low settings. I've checked every fix online, tried all possible solutions, but nothing improves it. I want to keep the performance I know my card can handle. So far I've used: NVidia Control Panel (trackmania and its launcher) – it doesn’t recognize GeForce Experience, which is frustrating – set AGP Usage to 100% with various patches found online. My driver version is 466.47 (currently up to date), but the manufacturer says it crashes. I’m not willing to sacrifice better graphics than what my hardware supports. If anyone has any ideas, please share them.

It seems only anti-aliasing was impacting the game, specifically from the launcher. I tried forcing 8x via the NVidia Control Panel and it resolved the issue. A small mistake on my end, but this appears to be the final fix available for TMNF. So... solved? Not quite, just another question came up. I'm noting this as the answer for now.
