She recently got the CyberpowerPC GXiVR8060A5, so I’m considering some upgrades. I’m struggling to find the exact specs for the motherboard, like maximum RAM speed and capacity, or suitable CPU options. I’m hoping you can help me out. I’ve identified the motherboard as ASRock B360m Xtreme, but I’m not sure if it matches the ASRock B360M Pro4. Thanks for your support!

They differ slightly since the Xtreme is essentially an OEM board, yet it's practically based on Pro4, meaning specs will be almost the same.

For basic checks and simple needs, using lubricant is sufficient.

Updating the CyberpowerPC/ASrock B360M Xtreme BIOS to version 4.20 is possible, and you can obtain the latest AsRock release by downloading from the provided link: https://download.asrock.com/BIOS/1151/B360M Pro4(4.20)WIN.zip. After downloading, unzip the file and edit the ASROM.ini file as shown. This will set the ROM to B360MP44.20, configure AFU86 and AFU64 paths, and apply the necessary parameters. Once saved, run ASROM.exe to start the update process. Select Y to begin the UEFI reboot and wait for completion. Be aware that this may change your boot logo from "CYBERPOWERPC" to "ASrock." Additionally, updating may void your warranty. You can revert to the original BIOS if needed, and the board name will update to "ASrock B360M Pro4." This change has been tested on the B360 model in the GXiVR3800WST, though similar updates were done for other boards. Always proceed with caution. This procedure bypasses standard ROM checks, so incorrect board flashes could damage the system.

Try restarting your device or checking if the issue persists across different sessions.

You've made the BIOS update, prompting it to proceed with the next steps. The system will restart and apply the UEFI firmware changes. Confirm by clicking OK.

Unzip the file, open ASROM.isi, locate the section with "param" and replace each instance with "/X". Exit and save the changes. Launch AROM.exe, wait briefly, then it will prompt for continuation Y/N and you should press y. After reviewing the changes, everything should work correctly.
