I just resumed playing the game after skipping it. I got stuck in an area and started a new game while leveling up. Checking the skill tree suggested a Knight class could unlock prayer abilities, but when I clicked, it wasn't selected. I found some advice online about creating a mixed-class character by picking the required skills from other classes. It wasn't clear what stats needed to be boosted.
