Hello. I'm just starting out with overclocking and I'm not sure if my settings are safe. I have a Ryzen 5950X, an Asus Dark Hero and a GSkill 4000 CL16 setup. So far, I've only tried memory overclocking: 4000 cl 14 memory voltage between 1.5-1.51 volts, SOC around 1.3 volts, and the clock frequency at 2000 MHz with both voltages set to 1.1 volts.

1.2v is deemed secure for the system, daily 1.25v isn't advised. Try reducing it while maintaining stability if possible. If not, you'll have limited options. Regarding CPU core voltage, current knowledge suggests it's still under development, though Ryzen 3000 models with less than 1.29v per core are stable. The 5000 series appears capable of higher voltages, but timing is uncertain.

Around 1.2v is the best range, you can push a bit more, but you need to confirm stability (and be very cautious, since excessive speed might damage the CPU).

Overclocking isn't for those who aren't bold... that's why I'm skipping it (and it doesn't really help). Except for my GPU, which is straightforward, unlike CPU or RAM overclocking. AMD claims a 1.35v threshold? That sounds tricky to verify... I recall a Windows 10 issue where the system would stay above 1.4 and the AMD forum member warned that anything over 1.4 is risky. They even suggested a temporary workaround. To be honest, the SOC voltage is much lower than that.
