My fx-8350 temps consistently reach the maximum 50°C, with the stock cooler and thermal paste. At 4.0 GHz, it's safe to push it further? Thanks. My GPU is a GTX 960 with 4GB RAM, and it also stays at 50°C during gaming—how much can I safely overclock it? Thank you.

your motherboard and psu also play a role. likely around 4.4 ghz on stock voltage. if you make some adjustments and use an aftermarket cooler, you might end up with 4.7-4.8 with a good air cooler. the performance gain is minimal, and from my perspective, i don't overclock fx above 4.4.

Keep an eye on temperatures and stability. All CPUs here are unique—some have excellent overclocking, while others don’t. You’ll never know their capabilities until you test them.
