I recently purchased a PC mainly for gaming and light study tasks. The components include...
-i5 6600k
-gtx 1060 3gb gigabyte card
-arctic freezer lp11 fan cooler
-2400mhz ballistix ddr4 ram dimm
-corsiar 550watt psu
-b150m pro vdh motherboard (supports overclocking)
-1tb wd blue hdd
I’m wondering if I can successfully achieve a stable overclock or reach 4GHz or higher with the Arctic Freezer LP11 cooler. It’s a compact model but still significantly outperforms the Intel stock cooler. I haven’t found any guidance on forums, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you mean this, it's completely useless to be honest.

That's the cooler I currently own and you're right, I would have chosen the Master 212 Evo or Dark Rock for that. However, I needed a low-profile fan because I have a very slim case. I'm sure you're aware that the LP-11 performs more than twice as well as the Intel stock cooler in my tests. If you know of any particularly good low-profile fans, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.

I don't know the source of this information, but it seems that overclocking isn't possible on B150 chipset motherboards. Only Z170 and Z270 support overclocking.

Hey I have the b150m pro vdh which does support overclocking as it has the tools in the bios and is advertised on MSI page for the board.

there are several versions of the same board that don't allow OC, probably the b150m pro vd

If you choose an unlocked chip, the board supports overclocking, though you should monitor temperatures closely. This cooler isn't built for high-end overclocking, but careful handling could yield results.
