Hey there! I see you're just starting out with your PC. You want a kid-friendly setup with some games and quick links to YouTube Kids, but you don’t want to worry about safety. It’s totally doable—just set up a few simple shortcuts and choose your favorite games. Let me know if you need step-by-step help!

If you're using Windows 10, the top choice is to set up a family account and assign your kids their own profiles. This gives them individual login details and separate desktops. You'll receive updates on their activities, and you can control usage times and durations. It's feasible to restrict access to specific apps, though simply guiding them about what's permitted tends to be more effective than blocking outright. On Edge and Internet Explorer, these settings function well. Chrome may require additional plugins to achieve similar results.

I wasn't aware you could accomplish that on Windows, but I'll start working on it now. I'll search for a suitable Chrome extension.

Take your time with this process, particularly for the Family account which may require some setup. You'll need a credit card for age confirmation, or it might take a few days for other options.

Another tool exists called Cold Turkey that can restrict both applications and websites. It offers scheduling options if you opt for a paid version. You won’t be able to remove it to disable it. I’m not sure if it includes a "block all except these" setting, since I haven’t tried using it that way.
