Hey there! I'm currently going through Dragon Age Origins again and considering jumping into Inquisition. The $59 price tag feels a bit steep, so I'm curious about a few things. How does it compare to Origins in terms of quality or performance? Is it stable, or do you often see crashes? Can my computer run it smoothly even with higher graphics settings? Do you think the humor from the goat throwing guy lives up to expectations? Lastly, would the combat feel similar to what you've experienced in Origins?

I found Origins more engaging due to its storytelling and combat elements. If you're looking for something similar, it may not meet your expectations. However, if you seek a distinct experience, it's a solid purchase.

No, there isn't less of it. The content remains consistent with the original material.

I truly wish for a mod that would let me bypass this part. The sloth demons fade section in Origins was really frustrating, and I can't even enjoy my favorite class, Mage.

It's not the best but remains decent. It performs well in terms of stability. You won't face issues running it with high visual quality. From a combat standpoint, it offers a unique approach. Rather than selecting an enemy to target and initiating an autoattack, you must repeatedly press LMB to hit him (with melee you also need to move closer and face him).

It switched to a more intense, battle-like style? I'm not really sure what I think about that.

I wasn’t certain either, but I tried the 6-hour trial on Origin and really liked it. I’m not sure if it’s still accessible.

It's an enjoyable experience. Each class must constantly deliver lines and perform exaggerated moves to enhance the action vibe. There are sufficient tactics for the hardest levels, and by the end your character becomes quite powerful enough to tackle dragons alone. The combat style is distinct—no healing options exist, and you must rely on potions for recovery. You can carry a limited supply and restock at camps, starting with about eight potions. - Is it better than Origins? Not really, but it comes close. It feels more like an MMORPG than a typical RPG. The storylines are straightforward, focusing on simple side quests. I enjoyed the companion narratives more than the main story. - Your PC ran smoothly without any crashes—good news! The goat-throwing character has been a while since I played it. Combat is straightforward; just pause and oversee your team on tougher levels. It’s essentially a tank-and-spank experience if you’ve played other MMOs before.
