Hey there! In the coming month I plan to upgrade from my iPhone 4 to either an iPhone 5S or 6, depending on how much the prices fall after the iPhone SE launch. I’ll also pick up some accessories like a leather case, wireless charging pad, and a wireless charging card. While browsing offers, I realized Google Cardboard is super affordable and gives me a device that’s essentially 4 inches—more than enough for basic use. That opens the door to VR gaming and movie viewing at a budget-friendly price. The challenge is finding a case that fits comfortably, and I’m not leaning toward Android phones. I discovered an app called Moonlight that lets you stream content from your PC to my iPhone. It’s easy to use and works well, though it lacks head tracking and 3D support. Then there’s Gagagu VR Streamer, which adds 3D functionality but still doesn’t include head tracking. Opentrack is another option; it tracks head movement and can work alongside the others, but I’m unsure if it needs a small icon or just relies on the phone’s gyroscope. For now, I have everything I need except for 3D or side-by-side viewing options. I’m curious whether there’s a single app that handles both head tracking and 3D in one—would be great if so!

Speaking of VR, I’m wondering if newer iPhones can play 360 videos on YouTube using the gyroscope. It seems possible, but downloading such content would likely require a PC, not an iPhone. How could I stream it directly to my phone? Any suggestions or alternatives would be appreciated.

Lastly, I’m keen to hear your thoughts on all this. Thanks a lot for your help!

I mean this clearly. What specific question or point are you asking about?
