Hi everyone, I have a couple of quick points about VirtualBox. Can a VM actually connect to real physical USB devices? It seems possible through certain configurations that act like a bridge, turning the host into a storage device as well. Regarding graphics cards, does VirtualBox automatically detect your physical card, or do I need to adjust settings inside the software?

Yeah, I don't have two GPUs yet, but I'm thinking about getting a second one. I think VT-x is installed, though I'm not sure about VT-d. My CPU is an i7 4770k—should that mean it's good? Also, what exactly is a hypervisor? Thanks for clarifying!

It might assist with USB drives: http://www.sysprobs.com/access-physical-...n-software. For the video card, I believe VMware Player (free) offers better graphics performance compared to Virtualbox.

Hello everyone, thank you all for your help. The GPU issue wasn<|pad|>, I was just testing Win10 in a VM, but the USB connection was my main concern. Appreciate your support—I'll label this as solved so everyone gets credit. P.S., the extra "A" in my phone quote was a bit of a hiccup.
