So in outer worlds it appears to be possible to get the two factions to cooperate as a hidden alternate ending.  It’s got a bunch of requirements though and I can’t seem to make it go.  I’ve apparently got to do bolt 52 in a specific way, do pay for the printer in a specific way that allows me to get another quest, do it as well, and kill graham. Forcing zola to become the leader.  The problem is I can’t get either Zola to talk to me and agree to become leader, and I can’t get the cooperation guy to agree to talk to the outcasts in the first place.  I’ve looked at a couple guides for it but I seem to be missing triggers.

I don't believe you can simply eliminate Graham; you must first gather some proof about him. Also, you should aim for at least 55 points in Persuade to convince Zola to negotiate. If your speech abilities are insufficient, consider completing other side missions before returning.
By the way, achieving cooperation from both sides is quite rewarding in the end.

The proof is Zola's search. I possess strong persuasion skills. The dialogue isn't starting as expected. She merely suggests a walk, still processing her thoughts. This is the same response I used before when I presented Graham with the evidence. Graham refuses to engage in an aggressive conversation. There seems to be a hidden trigger or an unmet requirement I'm overlooking. I'm not following the correct procedure.
