s about motherboards
I'm setting up my first PC with two friends. We were having a bit of trouble choosing a motherboard. We planned to use an RTX 2070 gaming graphics card with a AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor. One friend considered the ASRock B550 Phantom Gaming 4 (about €120), while the other thought about the ASUS TUF B550 Plus (around €160). I was leaning toward an X570 or the ROG B550 WiFi (around €200). We also had the Edup WiFi-KCard with an Intel AX200 for €42, which would be about €50.
Which board should we pick? And what are the differences between the ROG B550 WiFi, ASRock B550 Phantom Gaming, and ASUS Trust B550 Plus? Thanks for your help—I'm still learning a lot!
Choose the pro 4 if you're evaluating this setup. Consider the tuf plus, which is solid. The strix f works well too. The aorus pro is solid, along with mortar and the tomahawk mag (though it might be pricier). For b450, keep it in mind as well. A tomahawk max remains a solid pick unless you need nvec. Opt for a 5700xt if you're looking for a more affordable alternative that still delivers similar performance.
I believe I’ll go with the B550 Rogo Strix-F. I also looked at the X5700 xt, but it’s really pricey here. I could find a 2070 Super for €20 more and it even includes Minecraft RTX!
