Do you have any insights from those more seasoned members of the hackintosh community? I'm nearing a stable setup for my Razer Blade 15 Advanced (2018), but I still run into occasional issues. Mostly I can't access battery information or audio output, and the backlight turns off when I power on but comes back after adjusting the lid. This problem only appeared after switching from fakesmc.kext/acpibatterymanager.kext to virtualsmc.kext/smcbatterymanager.kext (it was said this would stabilize the trackpad, and it did but at a price). I've shared my experience in the tonymacx86 forums, but no one seems eager to assist. EDIT: I recently updated AppleALC, Lilu, and now things are working smoothly.

This situation is quite concerning. It's likely to reduce your performance and capabilities significantly.

It's a free driver for HD Audio codecs, handling most formats well and accurately spotting unsupported ones. It generally performs very effectively about 99% of the time.
