I just began trying CS:GO after my friend introduced me to it. Here are my thoughts on a few points: 1. Changing the field of view without user scripts is possible, though it might affect your comfort level. 2. Your sensitivity seems set to the default—most players stick with that unless they want adjustments. 3. There’s no official list of weapons per side, but friends often share what they’ve purchased. 4. It can feel slow getting into casual matches; maybe try different settings or practice modes?

This video was really useful. The FOV changes based on the servers and your location.

Nope - As an actual competitive game, your FOV is locked. No advantages over others. Sensitivity is all up to you. I play low at 1.2 Only a few guns are team sided. AK is terrorist side and M4A1 is CT side. Tech 9 is T side and Five Seven is CT side. Go play in a public server. Fastest way to just play the game. Find one that's 20/24 and just click join server.

I believe adjusting the field of view requires scripts.
Your sensitivity varies with your gameplay style, mouse and pad. Experiment with different settings to find what works best.
This setup suits weapons and team weapon availability. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=...1401,d.cWc 4
Matchmaking can be slow when few servers are nearby or they’re full.

1. There are a few variations in this list.
2. I refer to 2.5, while some people mention 1.
3. I really like the SG553.
4. It's about handling high time.

Sure, happy to help! It depends on the game mode you're playing. In some games, the explosion timing is shown on the screen, while in others it might be determined by the match duration. If you're unsure, checking the game's instructions or watching a tutorial could clarify things.

the timing isn't indicated, only the rate of the beeping is noticeable.

I responded to question number 4—it's a tough competition with no newcomers permitted. About two hours were spent in the lobby over the past two weeks!

Explosions require 45 seconds to detonate unless you're wrong.

I’ll state my points clearly so I don’t have to scroll excessively. The FOV in CS:GO isn’t adjustable via a slider; it stays constant unless your resolution changes. A 16:9 setting offers the widest view, but with a 4:3 stretched resolution you’ll see smaller targets, reducing the FOV, though larger objects appear bigger—this is just a personal preference. What matters most is comfort and what your PC can support.

There’s no fixed sensitivity to lock in; however, a lower setting helps maintain accuracy at longer distances and reduces micro-movement issues. Just ensure you can comfortably perform spins or quick movements on your mouse pad.

This setup has been my choice: 6/11 Windows, 480DPI, 1.25 inches in game. It’s not the highest, but it works well for me. Adapt and stick with what feels right.

Learning these settings takes time—explore community servers for smoother gameplay and better stats info. If you’re in Europe, check out BrutalCS servers for a more stable experience.
