s about Am5 board
I've been hearing a lot about asrock and am5 recently. How does gigabyte compare? I also learned about msi. Stability is important to me. Checking out the b650e and maybe x670e based on the manufacturer seems right. Gigabyte doesn't really produce 650e boards, and msi isn't doing it either...
They offer the B650E Master and Tachyon, though the latter is notably scarce. Essentially, they aren't produced anymore. Most manufacturers have similar offerings this year for AM5, so focus on features and cost rather than brand when choosing. I'm open to any model from them. ASRock generally provides solid value, but it's wise to compare specific boards and prices to find the best fit.
Because unless you enjoy messing with different bio versions for boosting performance, it’s pretty pointless.
I'm not suggesting they're always useful, but usually they aren't. Particularly with a new agesa code released, it could bring more consistency and here are other makers still running on 1.0.0.7a. You don't need to agree with my thoughts, I don't mind.
Consider the Gigabyte B650 AORUS Elite AX and Pro AX models. They offer solid BIOS improvements, strong performance, and functionalities that fit my needs. However, when comparing X670e boards for BIOS updates, it doesn’t make much sense. It seems unrelated at all.
Check your Gigabyte B650 setup. Adding a PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot directly beneath the CPU can affect GPU performance—whether it speeds things up to X8 mode or keeps it at X16 depends on your specific GPU model and BIOS settings. The Aero Graphics board should handle this similarly, though results may vary based on hardware configuration.
The GPU continues to operate at 16x while the M.2 slot beneath it is active. The PCIe connections remain exclusive. The Aero G unit functions identically, correct?
