Hello,
I’m considering pairing 5900x with Arous Master. Do you have OC sticky notes available for Zen3 or Zen2? I’m coming from the Intel platform and am new to this. Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Zen 3 is still in development, so it's unclear why an overclocking guide exists for it. Being direct, this reminds me of requesting a manual for a 2022 F150 when it was still 2020. For Zen 2, it should be quite similar because the same chipset is being used.

Yeah, "released" means they're only available on paper and to reviewers. No one has access for consumers yet, and even if someone did, it's unlikely they've had enough time to write an overclocking guide for these CPUs.

The video might provide guidance on selecting the appropriate voltage. I should be careful, as some people often damage the CPU within a week, a month, or six months. Reviewing their voltages and steering clear of those could help. It seems Fclock could potentially reach 2000-2100 Mhz with an updated BIOS for the Ryzen 5000, so RAM speeds might be around 4000-4200 Mhz. It's unclear which motherboards support updates and which don't, but the details are still limited. I hope an optimization guide will become available in about two weeks or more. People tend to experiment with their devices after all.

I think the approach will remain similar to previous Ryzen models, especially Zen2. Core optimization will occur near the maximum boost frequencies. It might require a slightly lower voltage, but boosting and employing faster RAM could yield better results.

Sure, I understand. It seems like what Der8auer is doing with LNC will be relevant for anyone looking to boost their everyday performance.

Steve is demonstrating the method he uses...
In reality, the 7nm process is already proven to be sensitive when applying a fixed voltage above its FIT. I would proceed with the process for calculating FIT for Zen2 and apply the voltage it provides. Then increase clocks until instability occurs under any stress test you consider adequate. If your sample shows degradation at an early stage, please inform us.

MSI compiled detailed overclock voltage data and associated power consumption figures from its internal evaluations. The listed voltages are recommended by MSI for users to consider. Below are the specific values for each CPU model along with their power usage and current limits:

AMD Ryzen 9 5950X
- 1.30V (1.26V Stress / 24.56A / 294.72 Watts)

AMD Ryzen 9 5900X
- 1.35V (1.30V Stress) / 18.02A / 216.24 Watts

AMD Ryzen 7 5700X
- 1.40V (1.35V Stress) / 11.26A / 135.12 Watts

AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
- 1.45V (1.40V Stress) / 8.46A / 101.52 Watts
