Technically the 9900K remains the top choice in gaming, though Ryzen is quite close at a lower price. In terms of performance per dollar, AMD/Ryzen still outperforms.

It makes sense that Intel lowers the premium price while still offering strong performance; my focus was more on affordability and mid-range options.

Budget-friendly choices clearly belong to AMD. Every product from AMD delivers much better performance compared to Intel's offerings.

AMD typically manages the 300 to 1500 dollar range for PC construction, or at least that’s my understanding. Purchasing a non-HT CPU these days seems pretty pointless.

AMD all day is great! The 9900K(S) offers single-core performance, but only a slight boost in frames per second in areas where you won’t see much difference. The real advantage comes from the Ryzen chips, which provide superior multicore speed and better value for money!
