This isn't really breaking new ground, and while Zen2 and Zen+ are getting closer, I was surprised by how many strong performances the Ice Lake series achieved in CPU tasks and how near they were to accuracy in GPU applications. The efficiency advantage over Zen+ is clear.

In short, Zen2 is clearly outperforming Intel in desktop settings, but it's still early days before you rush for a Zen+ laptop just yet.
