With my OC setup, I boosted the 3950X using PBO only, without adjusting the voltage in BIOS or Ryzen Master. Even when I turned off voltage control in Ryzen Master, the motherboard still managed to regulate it. My gaming PC now runs at around 1.4V while idle, which drops to 1.2V under load. I’m worried about the voltage fluctuations and whether Ryzen Master is interfering. Is this normal? Could 1.4V harm the chip long-term? The BIOS seems up-to-date, but I’m not sure what’s causing the issue. What should I do next?

1.4V during standby is completely fine.

Verified the voltage setting on the bios. Certain boards include an auto OC mode which is activated by default.

Normal operation at 1.42 volts is typical; high voltage levels combined with minimal current are observed, but voltage decreases when the CPU receives a workload.

Performance Enhancer is activated automatically. Only pbo is turned on. Processing speed has decreased compared to before. Previously, reaching 97% CPU was common, now it's only around 70%. What adjustments can help improve this? I've changed the Load Line calibration to level 3 but didn't see any improvement. Assistance needed!

Project settings influence folding behavior. Consistent settings should ensure proper operation. Verify temperatures stay under 80°C during folding.

This behavior isn't typical. After adjusting the BIOS, the voltage reverts to its original setting. Using "creators mode" in Ryzen Master causes the voltage to change within Ryzen Master itself, but the performance drops significantly—from 97% utilization to just 72%. The temperatures remain normal at 62°C. What can you do about this?

It helps maintain stability and performance without needing to push hardware beyond its limits.

Sure, you can turn on "game mode" to get a performance increase while playing. Just keep in mind I'm currently running at 4.0ghz and have been oc'd with pbo.

Reviewed the situation—when turning on creators mode in Ryzen Master, performance stays at 3GHz even during heavy use.
