It might be a bug in the BIOS, or a bug in Ryzen Master. Give it a few weeks, check for updates to both, and hopefully it'll be fixed. Alternatively, you could contact ASUS support, and if you're lucky, they might send you more than just an automated 'we received your support ticket' response.
Same issue here. Ryzen Master ignores my CPU clock speeds completely. 5600X B550 Aorus Pro Fun fact – my board performs better than many officially supported X570 models. Improved PCB layers for RAM, better VRM, enhanced cooling… AMD seems to be teasing me by not updating Ryzen Master.
They’ve told me to look at another Ryzen 5800X CPU if the isolation problem persists. It doesn’t seem practical for me to try that. If someone else encounters the same issue and finds a solution, I’d really appreciate it.
After several BIOS releases, there seems to be no improvement. Observe that the RM file isn't included in the list of supported CPUs on AMD's website—it stops at 3600XT.
I've switched to an ASUS Crosshair VIII Hero with a 5800x and I'm facing this problem even though I'm using an x570. All chipset drivers were installed, the board came with the Ryzen 5000 ready sticker, and the BIOS was updated on October 20th. There have been three updates since then, so it might still be there, but it's still happening even on x570 models.
So far nothing has altered much, yet I discovered something interesting about BIOS adjustments. When modifying settings in the BIOS, the TCD and EDC values would shift. Previously they operated as separate inputs, but after the change they consistently displayed identical readings. The percentage changes remained stable despite the modifications. I’m not sure what specifically caused this shift.
I also notice my 5800x and Ryzen Master display no clock speed. After checking my system specs, Ryzen Master shows zero logical cores. Many users seem to face the same problem right now. I’ve found a possible explanation but am unsure if it’s accurate—why does Ryzen Master behave this way? If anyone knows the cause or a fix, please share. Thanks! AMD has informed their engineering team about the problem and is actively addressing it. The response is somewhat limited, but they’re collaborating with motherboard manufacturers to resolve the issue ahead of the February release.
