A few weeks back my computer wouldn’t power on. After some research I found the issue was linked to the TPM module. Turning it off let me boot normally. I reduced the settings to the bare minimum and tried installing both Windows 10 and Windows 11 from an USB drive, but neither worked when the TPM was active. All standard recovery steps failed. My suspicion was on the CPU, though a motherboard problem couldn’t be ruled out. I contacted Novatech at my dealer and since the parts were still under warranty they sent them back for replacement. They confirmed it was a defective CPU because the board functioned correctly with other units. Six days ago they returned my Ryzen to AMD for further processing. They mentioned a maximum of 30 days for resolution, hoping it would be faster. Do you know where my CPU would be shipped from in the UK? With Brexit, sending anything outside seems costly and delayed due to possible extra charges.
