The 3950 offers more cores than another 3950 model. For gaming, the 3900 performs better. When it comes to gaming and streaming, the 3950 provides slightly improved results. In video editing tasks, the 3950 delivers superior performance.

Compared to the 3900X, it costs more but offers the same number of cores and the same speed. I don’t understand why I’d choose this. Appreciate the feedback!

Thanks for the idea, but I prefer sticking with what we discussed. Also, checking versus.com shows the 3900X outperforms the 5900X, and the 3950X is better than the 5950X.

this information is entirely incorrect; they aren't available yet, which means versus doesn't have a clear way to compare them. the 5900x should perform 15-20% better than the 3900x, and the same applies to the 5950x. ultimately, it's up to you—your decision is final.
