I’m checking if there are any issues with high MHz RAM on AMD CPUs. It might affect performance, so consider whether the trade-off is worth it for your needs.

The issues mainly stem from using four sticks instead of two. Four sticks put more strain on the memory controller and affect stability during startup, often causing errors. Updated motherboards have had time to resolve compatibility problems when using two sticks. I recently assembled a 7800X3D build with two DDR5 6000 CL30 sticks on an MSI B650 Tomahawk board. The BIOS was around five months old, but the sticks still functioned properly out of the box with XMP and EXPO settings enabled. After rebooting, I also updated the BIOS for other options mentioned in the notes, but no problems arose. Although my sample is small, manufacturers typically allow ample time to ensure consistency. The main concern with four sticks is the increased speed RAM kits tend to struggle with, as noted before.

Good to hear, I'll receive just 2 sticks and it should help.

In the 'High MHz' range, problems appear when the speed exceeds 6000MT/s. It's ideal for all chips to handle 6000MT/s automatically, which gives me confidence in a setup at that speed.
