Ryzen 7700X paired with DOMINATOR Platinum DDR5 7200MHz C34 DOCP setup faces performance challenges.
I possess an AMD Ryzen 7 7700X equipped with a DOMINATOR PLATINUM RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 7200MHz C34 Memory Kit on an Asus TUF GAMING X670E-PLUS WIFI motherboard running BIOS 0821. When attempting to activate DOCP for the 7200MHz, the system fails to boot. I managed to apply identical timings from the XMP profile at 5200MHz, which did start the OS. Testing with both RAM modules individually and with DOCP enabled still didn’t result in a boot. AI tuning options were also tried, but the process halts when DOCP is active. The CPU product page lists a maximum speed of 2x2R DDR5-5200, suggesting a cap at 5200MHz. The RAM specifications indicate compatibility with Intel 700 Series (13th Gen Intel Core CPUs), though I couldn’t locate confirmation for AMD platforms.
