I'm preparing for a build with a Ryzen 5 7600X and an ASUS ROG Strix B650E-F motherboard. I'm considering 32GB of G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO Series RAM and have a couple of options. I'm wondering if I should opt for faster, higher CL RAM or stick with slower, lower CL options. Which kit would suit my needs best? I'm also curious about the practical difference between these choices in everyday use, especially for gaming and photo editing. Please advise, RAM enthusiasts!

The 6000CL30 kit you mentioned works perfectly with my 7900x machine. EXPO runs smoothly without any issues. If you're not interested in adjusting RAM settings and prefer a straightforward solution, this is the best option. Of course, you can find alternatives at a lower cost, but this one achieves the AMD 6000Mbps sweetspot effortlessly with just one click. It's also much more affordable compared to what I paid for it a couple of months ago.

I agree with this. DDR5 latency isn<|pad|>, it's less important now. Kits from G.Skill, Kingston, and Corsair 6000MHz should work well. However, Buildzoid from Actual Hardware Overclocking advises avoiding Corsair if you plan to overclock beyond EXPO/XMP, likely because of the Samsung die chip issue.
