Hello, your new Windows 11 setup lists a driver version from November 2024. Since you prefer to manage updates yourself and haven’t used any AMD software before, consider downloading the latest drivers directly from the official AMD website. The Auto-Detect app can also help find compatible options. For your motherboard, check the Asus site for the specific graphics/VGA drivers it recommends.

Also while installing, you have the option to install just the driver if you prefer not to include any of the bundled software with it.

The AMD site offers just two choices: their Auto-detect & install utility or the adrenalin edition program.

Use the driver from the ASUS site. The AMD versions should function well, though ASUS often fixes issues in their releases for better stability.

It's basically just the AMD driver. Most things are now running on the CPU, so it doesn't really matter for desktop work. On mobile though, that might still make sense.
