I’m not very familiar with motherboards, so I’m here to find out. Could having a Ryzen 7 3700X paired with an MSI Tomahawk Max work well together? I’m looking for something affordable and want to make sure the board won’t restrict the CPU’s performance.

This setup is working smoothly so far. I haven't tried overclocking yet, but I've heard the motherboard has some restrictions. If you're aiming to boost your CPU performance, consider a top-tier X470 or X570 instead. The Tomahawk remains a solid choice for its value.
