I only sold my 3600x for 60€ more, now I can get the 3700x for that amount. I have to wait for the next Ryzen 4000 series. My choices are stick with the 3700x for an extra 60€, get the 3800x for 25€ more, or over the 3700x buy the 3900x for 110€. It’s for a gaming PC with ASUS Strix B550-F, 16GB RAM, CL16 Trident Neo RX 5700 XT, and Corsair RM750 power supply.

if it's just for gaming, non of these will make a huge difference over the 3600x ad they'll all perform similarly as games do not scale up to 8/12 cores. wait for zen 3 and check what it has to offer if you need/want an upgrade.

I understand the difference won't be more than 5 to 10 fps. I actually upgraded my 3600x for the same price I got on Black Friday, because I prefer the new Assassin's Creed: Origins over wasting 50 euros on a game that doesn't use my CPU. Now without the CPU, I need to buy one.

Consider skipping the extra 60 euros. Wait for Zen 3 and see what it provides before deciding if an upgrade is worth it.

Purchase the 3700x model with AC included. Alternatively, restock the 3600x since it performed exceptionally well as a CPU.

Sure, I understood. You're referring to the 3700x model with air conditioning, or the 3600x without it. It suggests pairing them together—buy the AC separately if needed. That's what I advise.
